    The Dinwiddie County Chamber of Commerce was organized by a group of active business leaders within the Dinwiddie community in the Spring of 2006.  Up until then, there was no active voice for businesses within the county or for those businesses seeking to do business in the county.  A little over a year later, the vision of seven people has evolved into a fully-functioning chamber of commerce with monthly networking opportunities and special events serving a total of 68 business members.  The chamber is led by forward-thinking individuals who care about the business industry in Dinwiddie County but who also understand and appreciate the unique rural and community traits that have long-kept Dinwiddie County a special place to live, work and play.
