    The Cameron Foundation is a Virginia nonstock corporation organized exclusively for charitable purposes that include, but are not limited to, promoting and providing support programs and activities that benefit the residents of the City of Petersburg, Virginia and the surrounding area, as well as other areas historically served by the hospital now know as Southside Regional Medical Center. The funds managed by the Foundation are the proceeds of the sale of assets of Southside Regional Medical Center by the Hospital Authority of the City of Petersburg.
