What does an operations research analyst do? How much do perfusionists make? What kind of training do you need to become a pyrotechnician? Career Prospects offers a database of information on more than 400 careers that are important in Virginia.
You can find two kinds of information about each career:
- a printable written summary that includes education requirements, skills, earnings and job outlook
- statistical tables showing employment projections, numbers of graduates, earnings, percentage of male and female employment, and other facts.
In addition, Career Prospects offers numerous articles on getting an education, looking for and finding a job, various career trends, as well as links to career advice, self-tests, salary surveys and internships. While Career Prospects does not have job ads or lists of jobs available in Virginia, we do offer Links to websites that have this information.
