Network Information System
The Virginia Workforce Network Information System allows One-Stop Case Managers to enter and track customer information using the following functions.
- Work With Job Seekers: This area allows you to work with Job Seekers. You can add a new Job Seeker to the list of enrolled users, access a Job Seeker's personal folder, get a list of new Job Seekers, enter services and programs into a Job Seeker's record, and do any of the tasks associated with Job Seekers.
- Work With Employers: This area will allow you to work with Employers. You can verify any pending employer registration and view previously verified employers, add a new Employer to the list of registered employers, access an Employer's business folder to add, edit or close job orders, and do any of the tasks associated with Employers.
- Work With Job Orders: This area will allow you to work with Job Orders. You can assist a Job Seeker in making contact with an Employer, choose a Job Order and perform an applicant search for an employer, refer a Job Seeker directly to a Job Order, perform Job Order maintenance and Job Order searches and do any of the tasks associated with Job Orders.
- Work With Service Providers: This area will allow you to work with Service Providers. You can view the list of Training Providers and Courses that have been approved through the Workforce Investment Act and do any of the tasks associated with Service Providers.
- Schedule and Maintain Events: This area will allow you to work with Events. This is for you as a staff person. You can schedule yourself for an event, search for events, and schedule an event for others to attend. Scheduling Job Seekers or Employers for events can be done through their respective folders or through the “Work With…” functions described above.
