Virginia Workforce Development
On behalf of Governor Kaine and the Virginia Workforce Council, the Senior Advisor for Workforce strives to advance a unified and integrated workforce development system that connects employment, training, and education to produce a demand-driven, flexible, and skilled workforce. The Senior Advisor and the Office of Workforce Development are committed to enhancing Virginia’s workforce, providing support for the Virginia Workforce Council, and coordinating a more efficient and effective system to improve the Virginia Workforce Network.
