Petersburg Symphony Orchestra

Founded on the dreams of former Virginia State University Music Department Head Dr. Nathaniel Gatlin, the Petersburg Symphony Orchestra opened in 1978. Today the orchestra is comprised of over 70 talented and diverse musicians, offering multiple shows per season for local residents with a taste for a wide repertoire of music.
