COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA – Virginia's Gateway Region Economic Development Organization (VGR) has been recognized in the first annual “Best of Economic Development in Virginia” by Southern Business & Development Magazine.
Within the “Virginia's Best Small Market Economic Development Agencies” category, VGR was one of four county or regional economic development organizations highlighted. The recognition is part of a review covering the best in economic development in Virginia in 30 distinct categories, and is a part of a larger feature on southern states.

The winners were chosen at Southern Business & Development's Southern Economic Development Roundtable at their annual meeting in January.
